Speaker 0 00:00:00 You should be selling a high ticket sales funnel for 10 grand. That's what you should be selling your high ticket sales funnels for. If you have a client who is selling programs or services or products for 5k, plus the reason we call it high ticket is because anything over 5k, you typically need to have a phone conversation with someone to build trust, right? You can sell a program or a product or a service for two or three K just from the website. And maybe with the training webinar. If, if it's over 5k, you need to have a conversation with them, which is why the high ticket sales funnel is so good because you have those touch points that we talked about that are programmed and automated to build trust with someone in a short space of time. So if you're selling a high ticket sales funnel to a client like that, you should be charging them 10 K. And I'm, I feel like I'm in better shape than I've ever been or not, maybe not ever. I'm 56 years old, but, um, I'm in pretty good shape and I've got a lot more to lose. I do have more to lose, but, um, I'm just eating right and working my ass off. And every morning I work out different exercises. My problem always was like, I'll start doing some exercises and a I'll either freaking hurt myself. Cause I've always had a bad back mm-hmm <affirmative> so I'll hurt myself or I'll just get bored. Like don't put me on a treadmill. I'd rather, I'd rather just, no, that's not gonna work for me. So I found a guru basically, who, um, has a whole bunch of different exercise routines and they're working for me. And in fact my wife's doing it too. Wow. She's she's not down 27 pounds, but she didn't need to be so <laugh>. Speaker 0 00:04:45 So for those of us that live in the 21st century, 27 pounds is about 12 and a half kilos, right? Yeah. Uh, sorry. Sorry. Make funds of, that's sorry to make fun of all my Imperial friends. That's okay. Uh, about 12 and a half kilos. That's that's not insignificant at all, dude. Foodwise and also alcohol coffee. Have you changed anything there? Speaker 3 00:05:19 Yep. Yep. So, no, I, I mean, I, I can, I'm cutting. I cut way back on sugar, but, um, cuz I'm a, I'm a sugarholic but I no longer. And um, so eating wise, uh, I now do this where I divide the plate into four pieces and two of those pieces are filled with something green mm-hmm Speaker 0 00:05:42 <affirmative> Speaker 3 00:05:43 Not something moldy, but something that's supposed to be green. And then one is filled with a protein of some sort lean, a nice lean protein, and one quarter is filled with some sort of starch. So I can pretty much have anything I ever wanted to have just smaller versions of the starch. Right, right. Speaker 0 00:06:01 You say star Speaker 3 00:06:03 Thing is I incre um, intermittent fast every day. And then I 24 hour fast one day a week. So 16 hours most days, and then 24 hours on right now is Thursdays, but that might change. Speaker 0 00:06:24 So are you 16 hours between like eight at night and midday? The next day is that Speaker 3 00:06:28 So whenever, yeah, whenever I stop drinking or stop eating dinner. So usually around seven mm-hmm <affirmative> and then I go until Speaker 0 00:06:36 11 or Speaker 3 00:06:37 I go as long as I can actually, I usually go until about 11 and then have a, I actually have a protein shake and then I have, and then the other thing, you know, how, um, Steve jobs and mark Zuckerberg and all these people, um, will tell you that the less choices you have in your life, the more successful you're gonna be mm-hmm <affirmative> so I've eliminated choices for breakfast and lunch. Mm-hmm <affirmative> breakfast is always a protein shake. Mm-hmm <affirmative> with a little MCT oil or something. And, and then lunch is always a Turkey sandwich with mustard and lettuce onion on Ezekiel bread, which is like a sprouted grain bread from the Turkey. I roast a Turkey every Sunday and wow. Slice that up every day to, uh, wow. Like have my sandwich. So no decisions, like I don't have, I'm not gonna run out and grab a hamburger. That's right. You know, salami sandwich. That's right. It's a Turkey sandwich, you know? Yep. Speaker 0 00:07:36 And if you think about it the night before you plan it the night before the next day, it's like, because the, the, the trap is, if you get hungry, you, you just start, you go for starchy carbs. Right. Because they fill you up and they're full of lovely and they turn into sugar and it gives you brain a lovely dopamine hit. But whereas if you've got it planned out, it's like, while I'm having a protein shake at 11:00 AM, then that's it. That's what I'm having. There's you don't need to think about it. Yeah. Love it. So well done, brother. Uh, that's awesome. How you, how you feeling Speaker 3 00:08:03 Like a million bucks strong that's great. Energized. Um, right. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:08:09 What pro what prompted, what prompted the change? Speaker 3 00:08:12 Well, you and I had talked about how I was doing some research on longevity. Remember, while back mm-hmm <affirmative> we were talking about longevity and, um, I, I follow a guy named Dan Sullivan. Who's a great coach, a great business coach, but he's also a big longevity nut mm-hmm <affirmative> and he's 78 and he looks like he's 48, right. Mm-hmm <affirmative> um, great shape. Great guy. Brilliant. I know, you know, Dan who Dan is. Yep. Um, and he said that he decided one day to just pick a number and that was gonna be his number that he lives to. So he picked 157, which mm-hmm <affirmative> is pretty damn high, but <laugh>, he said, he said, if, if I start living today, like I'm gonna be 157. That means I'm gonna have to make changes in my life about to get there. Right. Mm-hmm <affirmative> and if I make it to 152, nobody's gonna be pissed. Right. Speaker 0 00:09:08 Yeah. Speaker 3 00:09:09 So, you know, that's a lesson in goal setting of any kind. Right. Totally Set a goal for, uh, okay. This year I'm gonna make $300,000. Mm-hmm <affirmative>, I've gotta do things in order to do that, to get there. So, yeah. Um, so when I, when I picked my number, my number's 110. Speaker 0 00:09:28 Wow. Speaker 3 00:09:30 I said, I started looking around and I didn't see any fat guys over a hundred. So <laugh>, mm-hmm <affirmative>. I said, well, there's the first thing I have to change. Speaker 0 00:09:40 Yeah. Wow. That's super interesting. Um, I was talking to a guy once who was a baker and he used to start work at like three o'clock in the morning baking bread. And he was just eating bread. Like it was going outta fashion. Right. And he put on so much weight and he, then he just kind of got really depressed about himself. Anyway, he went through a really, went through a whole bunch of shit, like, you know, marriage broke up and ended up just really kind of hitting rock bottom. And he had tried to lose the weight and he kept, he kept approaching it a certain way. Like most people approach it, like denying themselves something or thinking about what they're putting in their mouth as, as the thing to focus on. And then he got some coaching around it and he switched his mindset to say, instead of saying, I'm trying to lose weight, he would then start saying, I'm a fit healthy person and fit healthy people. Speaker 0 00:10:33 Don't eat pizza after dinner as a snack. Right. Unless they're trying to carve up and put on muscle fit, healthy people, uh, have do certain things. They exercise, they eat well. They eat lots of vegetables. They eat small amounts of protein. They, you know, they exercise regularly. They sleep well. They drink lots of water. So whenever, cuz his thing was chocolate and, and bread. Right. And he said, every time he would think about chocolate or bread at night, he would say he would instant. Like it took, he, he said it took him about two weeks to change his habit, to go well, fit healthy people don't do that. So why am I doing that? Because I'm a fit healthy person. And he lost an obscene amount of weight in a short space of time. And it's that same mindset that you are talking about is looking at a dude who's 102 going, well, he's not fat. Speaker 0 00:11:19 So, uh, if I wanna live to 102, 102 year old men, aren't fat. So I need to not be fat. Otherwise I'm not gonna live to 102. And it's kind of projecting yourself into the future desired state that you wanna be in. And then making choices now to feed into that rather than what most people do, which is try and make different decisions. Now that will then result in a future desired state. And it's just a, it's just a little trick in your mind where you, if you actually put yourself in the future desired state first, you find yourself making different choices today, tomorrow. So I'll let you do your own research. But anyway, Peter DM munies and Dan Sullivan have a fantastic podcast called exponential wisdom, increasing abundance and exponential technologies. Um, Peter DM Mundis is number by the way, I think is about 700. He wants to live to 700 years old, which sounds ridiculous. Right. But he says, check this out, turtles live to 700. So why can't humans? Right? Like biologically he's absolutely convinced it's possible. We just haven't figured out the technology yet. And the point is not to look 700 when you're 700. Right? So he's his first thing is working on getting to a hundred and looking 60. That's his first kind of milestone. Crazy. I mean they just think so big. These guys it's in, it's insane. Um, right. Well thank you for sharing and uh, I hope you don't mind me, uh, outing your journey here on the livestream. It's inspiring for everyone. Love it. It's it's a Speaker 3 00:13:04 Lesson goal setting. Speaker 0 00:13:06 Yeah, it is. Speaking of which it's a nice segue into what we're gonna talk about today, which is there's a lot of chatter online. There's a lot of ads. There's a lot of messages. There's a lot of BS, frankly, around the topic of funnels. And what I wanna do on this call is walk you through the only funnel that you need in your business. For two reasons, one it's gonna help you bring in better quality, high qualified, high paying clients who are prepared to pay you what you are worth for the services that you're offering. The second reason is it's going to give you a great understanding of the funnel that you should also be pitching your clients, right? Uh, and you can make very good revenue. Uh, you can make great me selling these, this particular funnel to your clients. And the third thing we're gonna do is, as I mentioned at the start of the show is, is let you know how you can get your hands on three prebuilt funnels that we have built for you, that you can import into your business. What is your current average monthly revenue? You don't have to share it if you're not comfortable sharing it in the, in the comments. But what I want you to think about is how much would you like to increase your current average, monthly revenue buy for it, to make a significant difference in your business and in your life. So for example, if you are currently at, I'm gonna make some numbers up here. And if you're currently at $15,000 a month in revenue, what do you need that to be for it to make a significant difference in your business in your life? Speaker 0 00:15:01 Maybe it's an extra six grand a month so that you can hire a developer so that you can get off the tools. Maybe it's an extra 10 grand a month so that you can hire a developer and a project manager. Kirin Kelly wants to double his revenue. That's awesome. Yes, they are children in the background. Uh, the, and the other question I wanna ask you is how much of your current revenue is recurring? What percentage of your current monthly revenue is recurring revenue? When I say recurring, I don't mean clients that just come back and buy something else that's called repeat business. I mean, monthly contracted, recurring revenue where they're paying you, you know, whether it's care plans for a hundred dollars a month, or whether it's a growth plan for three and a half thousand dollars a month, there's, Speaker 3 00:15:52 They're on a subscription, they're Speaker 0 00:15:53 On a subscription, they're on a subscription, right? What percentage of your current revenue is on a subscription? And where would you like to get that to again, so that it makes a significant difference to your business and your life? Right? Facebook user has said that 300% of his current revenue is recurring. I think, no, I think he was answering that question. Before's 30% recurring revenue. Excellent. So the, the, I, this is, and I, I, I wanna tell you a quick story about Spotify and how that ties into what you're about to learn, uh, in this call and what we're about to give you and the, the funnels that we're about to give you the guy that the founder of Spotify. And I can't remember his name. Someone will look it up. Um, the founder of Spotify knew when the, he, he come from a artist's background, right? Speaker 0 00:16:51 He came from a, a music background and he knew the problem with iTunes and, and with what apple were doing is that the artists weren't making any money at all. They were just getting completely robbed. And so he knew there was a better way. And he had this idea for Spotify, but he knew that the Spotify's essentially a marketplace where you've got supply and demand. So the only way Spotify works is if you have listeners and you have the artists who are prepared to stream right, without, without one of those pieces, it, it, it fails. So he knew that he had a very narrow window in which to build trust. He knew that he had to build trust fast. He had to build trust with the fans, and he had to build trust with the music industry, cuz he had to get the, the library. Speaker 0 00:17:40 He had to get the content from the music industry, right? So here's what he did. He went to the fans and he said, trust me, I'm gonna get your favorite tracks and it will be free. Uh, we're gonna play ads. If you don't want the ads, you can subscribe to Spotify premium and we'll take the ads away. But trust me, I'm gonna get your favorite tracks. I just want you to take a punt, right? And it's gonna be better than apple music because you, the artists are gonna get paid more. We're gonna have a bigger library. It's gonna be a better experience than iTunes. And remember at the time iTunes was paper was like $2 99 to play a song and you owned it. It wasn't a streaming service. It was a, a store where you bought music. The only other services doing it were RDO Pandora. Speaker 0 00:18:26 They were a bit clunky. They were a bit shit. To be honest, Spotify came along. And what he did is he went to the record labels and he said, give me your library of music. And I guarantee you will earn this much in the first 12 months. Right. Was the only way he could get the, the content was to guarantee they would make a certain amount of money in the first 12 months. Now he had, uh, he had big Coons to make this call. He knew that he had the user base that would pay once he had the, the content they would pay to get rid of the ads, which would give him the revenue to then pay the record label. Right. But he made that guarantee up front. It's a big move. And the, he knew that that was the only way that he could get the record labels on side. Speaker 0 00:19:14 And if he didn't get the record labels on side, quick enough and the fans were waiting like, Hey dude, it's been three months and you promised me I could listen to Metallica and you still haven't got Metallica's albums. And this is rubbish. This service is crap. Right? Then they would leave. And the whole thing would fail. So he had a very, very narrow window in which to build trust. He had to build trust fast. And when I heard that episode of the, uh, masters of scale podcast, hosted by Reed Hoffman, of course of LinkedIn and PayPal fame, this light bulb went off in my head. And I, and I was like the, the challenge that we have as marketing service providers is we are asking people to invest. I mean, you can sell websites for $3,000 for the rest of your life. If you like and spin your wheels. Speaker 0 00:20:03 And it's a race to the bottom. And you know, I did that when I first started out and I very quickly realized that I just couldn't survive. So I knew I needed to go upstream and I needed to charge more for what I was doing. So I could build a team, build a profitable business and eventually get off the tools. And the only way I know to how to build trust fast is to have multiple touch points in a very short space of time. Now I used to do this back in 2007, 2008. I used to do this in person, right? You would make a phone call. You would go to the client's business and have a meeting with them. They would come to your office. They would sit down in the boardroom and we'd have a meeting with them. You'd have some emails. I started writing the anti followup sequence, which again was part of that. Well, what I realized is that you can automate a lot of this and you can systemize a lot of this so that by the time a client discovers you, whether they're a referral, whether they respond to an ad, whether they find you from SEO, whether they click a link in the footer of a website, I'll tell you a story about that in a moment. However, they find you. They have this, what I call the honeymoon experience, where they literally fall in love with you. And I reckon you've got our current sales cycle is about 24 days, right? Remember, while back we were talking about longevity and, um, I, I follow a guy named Dan Sullivan. Who's a great coach, a great business coach, but he's also a big longevity nut mm-hmm <affirmative> and he's 78 and he looks like he's 48, right. Um, great shape. Right. Mm-hmm <affirmative> um, great shape. Great guy. Brilliant. I know, you know, Dan who Dan is. Yep. Um, and he said that he decided one day to just pick a number and that was gonna be his number that he lives to. So he picked 157, which is pretty damn high, but he said, he said, if, if I start living today, like I'm gonna be 157. That means I'm gonna have to make changes in my life about to get there. Right. Mm-hmm <affirmative> and if I make it to 152, nobody's gonna be pissed. Right. Speaker 0 00:30:32 Yeah. Speaker 3 00:30:33 So, you know, that's a lesson in goal setting of any kind. Right. Totally Set a goal for, uh, okay. This year I'm gonna make $300,000. Mm-hmm <affirmative>, I've gotta do things in order to do that, to get there. So, yeah. Um, I was talking to a guy once who was a baker and he used to start work at like three o'clock in the morning baking bread. And he was just eating bread. Like it was going outta fashion. Right. And he put on so much weight and he, then he just kind of got really depressed about himself. Anyway, he went through a really, went through a whole bunch of shit, like, you know, marriage broke up and ended up just really kind of hitting rock bottom. And he had tried to lose the weight and he kept, he kept approaching it a certain way. Like most people approach it, like denying themselves something or thinking about what they're putting in their mouth as, as the thing to focus on. And then he got some coaching around it and he switched his mindset to say, instead of saying, I'm trying to lose weight, he would then start saying, I'm a fit healthy person and fit healthy people. Speaker 0 00:31:57 Don't eat pizza after dinner as a snack. Right. Unless they're trying to carve up and put on muscle fit, healthy people, uh, have do certain things. They exercise, they eat well. They eat lots of vegetables. They eat small amounts of protein. They, you know, they exercise regularly. They sleep well. They drink lots of water. So whenever, cuz his thing was chocolate and, and bread. Right. And he said, every time he would think about chocolate or bread at night, he would say he would instant. Like it took, he, he said it took him about two weeks to change his habit, to go well, fit healthy people don't do that. So why am I doing that? Because I'm a fit healthy person. And he lost an obscene amount of weight in a short space of time. And it's that same mindset that you are talking about is looking at a dude who's 102 going, well, he's not fat. Speaker 0 00:32:43 So, uh, if I wanna live to 102, a hundred, two year old men, aren't fat. So I need to not be fat. Otherwise I'm not gonna live to 102. And it's kind of projecting yourself into the future desired state that you wanna be in. And then making choices now to feed into that rather than what most people do, which is try and make different decisions. Now that will then result in a future desired state. And it's just a, it's just a little trick in your mind where if you actually put yourself in the future desired state first, you find yourself making different choices today and tomorrow. So he's he's first thing is working on getting to a hundred and looking 60. That's his first kind of milestone. Crazy. I mean they just think so big. These guys it's in it's insane. Um, right. There's a lot of BS, frankly, around the topic of funnels. And what I wanna do on this call is walk you through the only funnel that you need in your business. For two reasons, one it's gonna help you bring in better quality, high qualified, high paying clients who are prepared to pay you what you are worth for the services that you're offering. The second reason is it's going to give you a great understanding of the funnel that you should also be pitching your clients, right? Uh, and you can make very good revenue. Uh, you can make great me selling these, this particular funnel to your clients. And the third thing we're gonna do is, as I mentioned at the start of the show is, is let you know how you can get your hands on three pre-built funnels that we have built for you, that you can import into your business. So for example, if you're currently at, I'm gonna make some numbers up here. And if you're currently at $15,000 a month in revenue, what do you need that to be for it to make a significant difference in your business in your life? Uh, the, and the other question I wanna ask you is how much of your current revenue is recurring? What percentage of your current monthly revenue is recurring revenue? When I say recurring, I don't mean clients that just come back and buy something else that's called repeat business. I mean, monthly contracted, recurring revenue where they're paying you, you know, whether it's care plans for a hundred dollars a month, or whether it's a growth plan for three and a half thousand dollars a month, there's, Speaker 3 00:37:16 They're on a subscription, they're Speaker 0 00:37:17 On a subscription, they're on a subscription, right? What percentage of your current revenue is on a subscription? And where would you like to get that to again, so that it makes a significant difference to your business and your life? Right? Facebook user has said that 300% of his current revenue is recurring. I think, no, I think he was answering that question before Kirin's 30% recurring revenue. Excellent. So the, the, I, this is, and I, I, I wanna tell you a quick story about Spotify and how that ties into what you're about to learn, uh, in this call and what we're about to give you and the, the funnels that we're about to give you the guy that the founder of Spotify. And I can't remember his name, someone to look it up. Um, the founder of Spotify knew when the, he, he come from a artist's background, right? Speaker 0 00:38:15 He came from a, a music background and he knew the problem with iTunes and, and with what apple were doing is that the artists weren't making any money at all. They were just getting completely robbed. And so he knew there was a better way. And he had this idea for Spotify, but he knew that the Spotify's essentially a marketplace where you've got supply and demand. So the only way Spotify works is if you have listeners and you have the artists who are prepared to stream right, without, without one of those pieces, it, it, it fails. So he knew that he had a very narrow window in which to build trust. He knew that he had to build trust fast. He had to build trust with the fans, and he had to build trust with the music industry, cuz he had to get the, the library. Speaker 0 00:39:04 He had to get the content from the music industry, right? So here's what he did. He went to the fans and he said, trust me, I'm gonna get your favorite tracks and it will be free. Uh, we're gonna play ads. If you don't want the ads, you can subscribe to Spotify premium and we'll take the ads away. But trust me, I'm gonna get your favorite tracks. I just want you to take a punt, right? And it's gonna be better than apple music because you, the artists are gonna get paid more. We're gonna have a bigger library. It's gonna be a better experience than iTunes. And remember at the time iTunes was paper was like $2 99 to play a song and you owned it. It wasn't a streaming service. It was a, a store where you bought music. The only other services doing it were R Pandora. Speaker 0 00:39:50 They were a bit clunky. They were a bit shit, to be honest, Spotify came along. And what he did is he went to the record labels and he said, give me your library of music. And I guarantee you will earn this much in the first 12 months. Right. Was the only way he could get the, the, the content was to guarantee they would make a certain amount of money in the first 12 months. Now he had, uh, he had big kaons to make this call. He knew that he had the user base that would pay once he had the, the content they would pay to get rid of the ads, which would give him the revenue to then pay the record label. Right. But he made that guarantee up front. It's a big move. And the, he knew that that was the only way that he could get the record labels on side. Speaker 0 00:40:38 And if he didn't get the record labels on side, quick enough, and the fans were waiting like, Hey dude, it's been three months and you promised me I could listen to Metallica and you still haven't got Metallica's albums. And this is rubbish. This service is crap. Right? Then they would leave. And the whole thing would fail. So he had a very, very narrow window in which to build trust. He had to build trust fast. And when I heard that episode of the, uh, masters of scale podcast, hosted by Reed Hoffman, of course of LinkedIn and PayPal fame, this light bulb went off in my head. And, and I was like, the, the challenge that we have as marketing service providers is we are asking people to, I mean, you can sell websites for $3,000 for the rest of your life. If you like and spin your wheels. Speaker 0 00:41:27 And it's a race to the bottom. And you know, I did that when I first started out and I very quickly realized that I just couldn't survive. So I knew I needed to go upstream and I needed to charge more for what I was doing. So I could build a team, build a profitable business and eventually get off the tools. And the only way I know how to build trust fast is to have multiple touchpoint in a very short space of time. Now I used to do this back in 2007, 2008. I used to do this in person, right? You would make a phone call. You would go to the client's business and have a meeting with them. They would come to your office. They would sit down in the boardroom and we'd have a meeting with them. You'd have some emails. I started writing the anti followup sequence, which again was part of that. Speaker 0 00:42:12 Having multiple touch points with the client in a really short space of time. Well, what I realized is that you can automate a lot of this and you can systemize a lot of this so that by the time a client discovers you, whether there're a referral, whether they respond to an ad, whether they find you from SEO, whether they click a link in the footer of a website, I'll tell you a story about that in a moment. However, they find you. They have this, what I call the honeymoon experience, where they literally fall in love with you. And I reckon you've got our current sales cycle is about 24 days, right? I reckon you've got 10 to 25, maybe 30 days from the moment that person discovers you. If after 30 days we haven't closed a deal, it's gonna start to rot in my experience. Speaker 0 00:43:02 It might be different for your marketplace and your industry or wherever, wherever you are operating in the world. But that's my experience. So we try and close deals within 10 to 24 days, right? That's the sweet spot. And they're, they're in love with you during that time. That's the honeymoon period and emotionally they've bought into the process. And so what I did is I engineered what I call a high ticket sales funnel. Now I know there's a lot of people talking about high ticket, high ticket sales and sales funnels and stuff. But what I wanna do is I wanna walk you through why, and I'm gonna show you our current high ticket sales funnel, which is doing exceptionally well. We are booking calls from cold traffic from Facebook ads, right? And again, doesn't matter where the traffic comes from. I'll tell you about the link in the footer of a website in the moment. Speaker 0 00:43:49 Doesn't matter where the traffic comes from you. We, we have essentially a high ticket sales funnel is a red carpet, white glove concierge experience where you roll out the red carpet and treat people like a V I P. So by the time they get on a call with you or one of your team, they have already bought, they've already bought in they're they're already like, oh my God, you guys are amazing. You know, we love you to bits. I'll tell you a quick story about Carl who's in Maverick's club, in New Zealand. He had a call recently with a business coach, which is his market. She indicated in the application process of the funnel, which I'll walk you through in a minute that she had a budget of maybe 10 to 15 to rebuild her website. By the time he got on a call with this, this client, she was like, oh my God, uh, you're like a celebrity in, uh, in, in, in, uh, you know, these groups that I'm in. Speaker 0 00:44:43 And she felt like she'd seen his content. She'd seen his video. She felt like she already knew him, right? She indicated in the application process that her budget was 10 to 15. He closed a $28,000 project with this client. And that was because of the positioning and the strength of the marketing and everything that happened before he spoke with her on the phone, which is what I wanna walk you through. And I got an email through my website. This was before I had a funnel built out. I was just kind of doing it manually, right? Uh, before I had all the automation built out and I got an email from this, uh, nonprofit who were the peak body for the drug and alcohol sector here in Melbourne. And they said, Hey, we run events. And we use this audio visual hire company. And we went to their website and we saw that you built their website and we love it. Can we have a conversation with you? And I said, of course you can. So then I started what is now essentially a high ticket sales funnel, but I just did it manually. Speaker 0 00:46:17 I just emailed them links to pages. And I emailed them a link to the application form. And I emailed them a link to the calendar and all that kind of stuff. And they ended up, it was one of the most profitable, one of the best projects I ever worked on. And when I, I remember walking in to meet them in their office. And when I walked in Sam, the CEO, he, he walked out of his office down the hallway and then he literally stopped and took a step back. And he's like, oh, oh, sorry, man. It's, it's just like, I'm beating a celebrity. Like I know you so well. I've been watching all your videos and reading your blog articles. And he said, I'm just, I'm so thrilled to finally meet you. And I was just standing there going, this is like a done deal. Speaker 0 00:46:52 Like I just, I'm just not gonna say anything, right. I'm just gonna hand put my hand down, take the guy's checkbook because it's, he's already sold and I haven't even opened my mouth. And that was because I had this positioning and this presales, these presales assets in place. Now I've automated the thing and it's much slicker. And, um, so without further ado, I will share my screen and I will walk you through the anatomy of a high ticket sales funnel. Uh, she sold recently a website and a high ticket sales funnel for 17 grand for a client. And I know she's told me in, in private chats that actually rolling out the funnel is, you know, takes her, you know, hours, not, not days or weeks because she uses the templates that we give her. And then she just adds the content for the client in, in a very short space of time. It's done. And then we have a great big headline that is basically, um, you know, Frank Kern calls at the how to yay without boo headline, right? I'm gonna repeat that because I think it's really important. 40% of our calls that are coming through this funnel are people booking themselves in which I'll show you in a moment how they do that. Speaker 0 00:53:09 The other 60% of calls that we're getting through this funnel are from di Oza, uh, from Deza outbound, calling the people who opt in for the video, getting them on the phone, qu qualifying them, and then booking them in with, uh, with Damien, once people on the button that says, let me talk to a human, they go to the third page in the high ticket sales funnel, which is an application form where we basically qualify them. Right. I won't walk you through all the details here. Uh, there's a, I dunno, there's like six or seven or eight questions where we basically ask them, like, we kind of follow the BANT framework, right? Like, what's your budget? Are you the decision maker? What do you need help with? And what's your timeline? And we kind of do it in a slightly different order. I think we do. Speaker 0 00:53:52 Like, what do you need first? Um, are you the authority? What's your timeline? What's your expected budget. And if they, if they come back and say, well, look, we have this ridiculously high expectations and we have no money and we need it to happen yesterday. We might just get 'em on a quick call and say, look, we're probably not the right fit for you. Um, if you have realistic expectations and you have a realistic budget, then we're happy to chat. And so this is a way of us kind of filtering out the tire kickers or the, or the time wasters. Uh, once they fill in the application form, they then end up on a calendar where they can just book in a time. And so you can see here, I'm on the calendar. It's, it's Thursday, the 24th of March where I live and there's 2:00 PM, two 15 or two 30, like legitimately. Video is just a leveraged a way of having a sales presentation with someone, but you do it once and then you just record it and then you can play it to everyone automated. So while I'm sleeping, people are watching a sales presentation, which is basically a teaching presentation, short 10, 12, 15 minute teaching presentation, where I teach them one thing that positions me as an authority and helps them with a problem. Like I've just got a, a, a camera plugged into my computer here and, um, you know, uh, a USB microphone and I, and I had some slides I think, and it was a presentation that I did at one of our events. And I just shortened it a bit and made it a bit shorter. You wanna, you don't wanna teach, you don't wanna go into too much detail when you teach. In fact, we have a whole training around what I call cornerstone content, which I'll, I'll give you details and how you can get that in a moment. Cornerstone content is you, you really only need one piece of content, right. And, uh, <laugh> nice, soft lens, some wine and some music. Yes. And just a camera. Look at that. Crispy 4k. Well, sure. It's a nice camera, but you don't need, you can get a log tech USB 4k camera for a hundred bucks and you don't need a, Speaker 3 00:58:36 You don't need a recording studio is what you Speaker 0 00:58:38 Mean. No, don't, don't overthink it. Like, you know, our, our fractional CMO tissu his funnel is him on the iPhone, right? It's him on his iPhone and a selfie stick in his, in his room, in his, which is his, his spare bedroom, which is his home office. Right. And I went down through his funnel, very similar funnel to what we've got, went through his funnel, watched his video content went. This is super interesting. Applied, got on a call, hired the guy he's now running our marketing. Right. So you don't need the fancy, don't let the tech get in the way of just producing the content. And also remember the first time you produce any content like this. It's probably gonna be terrible because you've never done it before. That's okay. Give yourself permission to just be terrible at it and then just do it again and get better. Speaker 0 00:59:22 Okay. Yep. Yep. Um, uh, the, you don't wanna teach. The other thing I wanna say is you don't wanna teach anything in, in too greater detail, cuz if you teach them too much, you'll one, you'll either confuse them or they'll say, oh Pete, that was amazing. Thank you, man. I've got all this homework to go do. Now I'm gonna go do all this homework and I don't need you because you've told me what to do. The idea is you wanna tell them what they need to do. Show them a tiny bit of the how, but kind of confuse them a little bit as well. So they go, oh, that's amazing. You're so right. That's exactly what I need to do, but I dunno how to do what I need help. Let me give you an example. I was on a call yesterday with a Maverick and they were putting together a low ticket offer to get more people into their funnel. And as a result of that, they improve search results. Cuz if your website's faster and more secure, Google's just gonna give you preference. What you wanna do is go out to the marketplace and say, we will make your website faster, more secure and more visible on search who doesn't want that. Right? So they, in their video, they can talk about why having a faster website is important because we know that Google says, and I, what I would do is I would just bring up a Google article and I would just read it out. I'd say, check this out. This is from Google themselves saying that they say that page speed is a factor that affects search results. This is why it's super important. And if I had to teach something, I would say, look, one of the biggest reasons that websites are slow is because people put big images on their website without compressing them. Speaker 0 01:01:49 First, we make sure that all your websites are compressed. In fact, we do it in the background. It happens automatically. All your images are compressed nice and small, which speeds up your websites. You know, like that it's the low hanging fruit. They don't know how to do that, but instantly they've gone. Oh shit. Maybe our images are too big. We need to fix it, but they don't know how to do it. You've told them what to do. You've given them a tiny, tiny taste of how, but now they're confused and they have questions and that's exactly where you want them because they come to you and go, well, can you help us? Okay. Uh, so don't overthink that. Yes. Thomas, you also do get the case studies page in the templates that, uh, that we give you. Um, any questions about any of this from anyone watching any questions about any of this? We have had people who have been out on dates on Tinder where the date hasn't gone so well, but they've picked up a client. There is, um, there's now I was talking to, um, the point I'm trying to make here is that if you ha, if you actually have a solution to someone's problem, and I was talking to Marrie yesterday in Mavericks about faster, more secure, more visible. And she said, now that I know that I can, because going out to her business network with a $15,000 website, there's a huge barrier to entry going out with a $1,000 offer to make websites faster, more secure and more visible. She's right. Speaker 0 01:04:10 She's like, ah, now I can go out to my audience and my network because I'm not trying to sell them the earth, right? I'm I've got a low barrier to entry offer that I can get them into over deliver, prove that we can, you know, do what we say we can do. And then they can ascend. And eventually they'll rebuild their website and do a rebrand and they'll become a $25,000 client. But right now they're a $1,000 client. So she's got a great network in her local area that she can go out to get on the phone, go to networking events. Uh, yeah, of course run ads. Um, I'm, I'm a big fan of only running ads to something that we know works organically. Um, the point is that once you've got a great offer of a piece of you really great piece of content that you can help people with, then you will find that you get really motivated to share that content with everyone doing great joint venture partnerships as well. When I was targeting accountants, I went to the, I would go and speak at the CPA conferences and I'd have 300 accountants in a room in front of me and I'd be talking to them about whatever I was talking to. 'em about and usually about recruiting, usually about recruitment funnels, cuz that's their big problem is getting good staff and I'd come off stage and I'd have people eight or nine deep lining up to gimme their business card. Right? Because I knew I had something that I could offer them. Speaker 0 01:05:36 I wasn't just up there talking about websites cuz that's boring. I, I had a specific offer for them. So this will help you get that really specific offer. And the fir I'm, I'll tell you now completely transparently. The first time you launch a high ticket sales funnel with whatever video or content you put in, it will be terrible. And it won't, it, you probably won't get a client and that's good. That means you go back and you refine your message and you've gotta get that message to match the market. You've gotta get that right. Once you get that right. Things start to take off. Uh, and a video will build trust quicker than anything else, but it doesn't have to be a video. You could start with a blog post with just explaining your, your theory or your thoughts. Now that cornerstone piece of content can be tricky. Speaker 0 01:18:15 And guess what? You can just kind of do a voiceover narration of the blog post, or you could just run it as a blog post for the next three years. And if they're talk now, if you wanna future pace this and, and, and talk about a pro tip, you could end up with three or four of these funnels. And if you're talking to a prospect who says, look, my problem is not getting the phone to ring. Our dental practice is full. The problem is most people coming in here, the lifetime value of the average patient, it's about 500 bucks and I need it to be 12,000. Like I just, or, you know, 7,000, I need to get more cosmetic dentistry work. Speaker 0 01:19:58 I'm just sick of doing fillings and sick of doing checkups on people, right? I need to increase the lifetime value of our client. You go great. We've definitely got something that can help you here.
